Woodward Dream Cruise - August 16th This classic car spectacle is known as the largest one-day automotive event.  It is a cavalcade of cars on Woodward Avenue from Ferndale to Pontiac.  The date is August 16th 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Some vintage cars will be seen earlier that week cruising.  This year there will be a car contest at Northwood Shopping Center (30943 N.
