The new 14,900 sqft commercial development project located on Main and Broad Streets in Dexter, MI signed its first tenant in October.  Cottage Inn Pizza will be the first to occupy this multi-tenant redevelopment dubbed the Wallace Building.  Originally a family-owned grocery store, this building has been in the Wallace family for 35 years. Recently renovated, the old has been replaced with a new facade, new landscaping and completely new interior units with separate tenant entrances.  Commercial suites range from 1,938 - 2,573 sqft.  Aside from the Cottage Inn space, five other units will be available.  Cottage Inn hopes to boost sales 20-30% with the move to this new (and larger) dine-in location.  Cottage Inn Pizza will open for business in January of 2008.  With increased square footage, the new location will be able to host almost twice as many diners.
