Ann Arbor Michigan Community: Happy Halloween From Kathy Toth & Team
Saturday, October 31, 2009
Lets face it, deep down we all love Halloween! There is something about it that reminds us of the childhood fun of telling ghost stories and trick or treating! This is probably the reason so many adults dress up in costume and act as big kids all night!
Here in Ann Arbor naturally there are lots of events going on to celebrate the day.
A Halloween Party will be held at the Ann Arbor District Library . Songs, trick or treats at 9:30 to 10:00 AM and a second party at 10:30 to 11:00.
The Treat Parade, begins on Main Street at 11:00 and lasts for 6 hours. This annual event is a highlight for the kids as they dress and walk down Main Street visiting all the merchants who love talking part. Over 50 merchants participate in the Treat Parade, and plan their routes down Ashley, Liberty, Washington and 4th Street.
Here are the local trick or treat times as mentioned last week.
Also, visiting a haunted house could be great fun! Click here to see more on local haunted houses!
Of course in addition there are private parties and events - whatever you are doing and where ever you are, be safe this Halloween and have fun! (Have a spooktacular night!)
