Ann Arbor Foreclosures Down 2009: Washtenw County Sheriff's Deeds

Foreclosure recordings are lower in Washtenaw County. An updated table of monthly Sheriff Deeds recorded is presented below from 2002 to now.
In 2009 the number of Sheriff Deeds recorded by the Register of Deeds are 1072, compared to 1439 in 2008. So there are less recordings in 2009. See previous post with video.
What I am concerned about is the shadow inventory or delay in foreclosures that may surface in the new year. Search for all Ann Arbor Area Real Estate Foreclosures.

Many home which are on the market are privatly owned but have gone to sherrif's sale and are being sold during the redemption time frame. Many of these may not be sold and may end up with evictions: see below.
